That description fits to a tee, and it's perfectly accurate of many of the nitwits who demand something be done and then refuse any and all suggestions offered while making none of their own. It isn't to say that you and I are like that, but unfortunately, there are fucktards like that in numbers enough to actually make Chrostas's rant justified (though not quite as broadly as he would like it, methinks). Mostly it's a case of ignorance and misplaced idealism coupled with arrogance.

It doesn't make them nitwits. Many pro-war advocates, when confronted with an opposing viewpoint, shift the focus from the errors in their logic to what alternatives the other may give (even when most of the time the alternative is suggested in the argument). It is an outright red herring, and akin to a false dilemma. I'm almost positive his troll was directed at the opposition on this board. People here have given their alternatives and logic behind their conclusions instead of giving a response typical of some kid that just demonstrated to get a day off school.

I'm not talking about the people who do offer alternatives. Believe me, I've seen enough of the nitwit brigade to know that it exists and to have had my fill of it. I'm not much of a pro-war person myself, and I've said it many times, always backed up by reason and facts. You're also absolutely right about many people in the pro-war crowd too often just sticking fingers in their ears and singing lalalalalalalalalalaa. And Chrostas is known for doing exactly that, starting to troll when faced with an opposing viewpoint that is backed up and he has no answer for.
I just don't see a need to set my position in stone if the other side does bring up points. There was a point in that rant, though if we do make a similar counterpoint rant about conservatives, he'll likely ignore it or calls us commies...
