Yes, the test board is back, as I'm trying to find another server that will give us better performance. http://bbs2.stardestroyer.net or https://megatron.enetexperience.com/~admin21 if you want to check it out. Last time, we experienced some odd 30-second delays in posting during the test which I foolishly chalked up to the mass deletions and other tests people were doing, but which turned out to be typical of that host. This time, please let me know how the torture test goes and we'll have to flag any extended posting delays (a few seconds is OK, 30 seconds is not).

As always, be careful you don't confuse the test board with the real one. Please note that the title in your web browser's titlebar should say "SD.Net TEST BBS" instead of "StarDestroyer.Net BBS", so this (in conjunction with the URL) should help you differentiate between the two.

If it can handle this (ACHTUNG!! 56K VERBOTEN) it'll plow through anything no problem!!

I'm still getting delays on bbs2, even when posting small one-liner messages. Sometimes it comes through quickly; other times it's delayed up to 30 seconds.

That coulda been me shitting that uberweapon message (it eats a MEGABYTE of bandwidth in one shot!), and it took a little while (bout 15 seconds), but overall it's very responsive

Seems to work fine but there was only one other person on the test board when I was messing around. It's anyone's guess how well it's going to scale when bogged down by the normal horde of 50+ users.

In terms of spam it isn't that bad; it doesn't put that much of a strain on your server AFAIK (since it's only a bunch of image links).
