Fair enough, I was more looking for the second part of my post, why do you particularly keep on living. Like having fun and/or sex with hotties, for example. Or something more philosophical and abstract, whatever.

Mostly I'm just curious what y'all think.

I think the purpose of life is to seek love, truth, justice, and happiness. Sex is just one of those things that is supposed to happen and doesn't have to be included.

Actually, sex is not a guaranteed thing. There are people in this world who live their whole lives without it (or in the case of Catholic priests, without having sex with an adult), and lots of people for whom they do not pursue sex because they're obsessed with something else such as money or religion or some kind of neurosis (as long as you're mentioning Darkstar, for example ...)

I should have explained in the first place: in the same non-sexual way that Zaia was talking about in the first place, I think it is good to love as much as you can. Being loved in return is just icing.
