Please pardon the crappy quality - It was from my phone, and I didn't have a lot of time to set up the shot:

I grabbed the Ricoh GXR M mount module last Friday and I have been putting it through the paces. Some pictures I have taken so far. These were taken with the Carl Zeiss C-Sonnar 50mm/1.5.

I love the GXR M mount module. The only quibble I have is the lack of a sensor cleaning function. I guess the air blower will have to do.

This might get more views than testing, so here's a few pics from my recent trips to Chicago and NYC. Animal pictures were taken at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago.

I also feel compelled to point out how amazing 18x zoom really is.
Here's a perspective shot:

Re: Show-off thread (56k unfriendly)
Not much to show off with a camera from 2004, just some snapshots from my parents summer cottage by the sea, I have had vacation for a week and a half now and I bought this very american thing, a Weber smoker:
I didn't keep it there, but it made a nice shot.
This here is the recipe for a good vacation, and it's right at my doorstep. Beats going to Rome or the Canary Islands let me tell you, way cheaper too.
First ribs I ever made in this thing:

Re: Show-off thread (56k unfriendly)
Got my new camera this week, been learning how it works. I seem to use aperture priority a lot.
Just testing the quality, it was just a random snap and I am pretty happy with how it came out. Very fartsy, no art.
