What is wrong Florida ? Why do so many of these news stories involving gun violence and police misconduct come out of that state ?

Enlighten me, I have been in America like only once for just few months.

Something in the water probably, but the gun violence is a lot less interesting than getting stories about people eating other people's faces when they're naked in broad daylight, having a house infested with 60,000 bees in between the walls, or giant sinkholes that swallow houses and stretches of highway opening up for no apparent reason. Seriously, all sorts of weird shit comes out of Florida.

If I'm not mistaken, Italy actually has laws on the books that lighten sentences for domestic abuse if the crime occurs during the time when a hot humid wind is blowing in from over the Mediterranean.

Dude, what is wrong with the States anyway? Lack of education, no mental health facilities, the media? As other people have said, Switzerland is full of guns, more so than America, yet you never hear this shit going down. What makes America peculiar?
