What would you like to see in Episode III?

Post by Trytostaydead »

Personally, I'd like to see a return to "innocence" so to speak. It seems that George Lucas is so caught up on making things DIGITAL and marketing, that Star Wars no longer feels like Star Wars. For the past two episodes, it's felt like pop-Star Wars or had an eerie teeny-bopper feel to it. I don't know if that last made sense, but watching Hayden Christiansen, Natalie Portman (who really can't act) and such..

One other thing I hope for Episode III, GL somehow accounts for how Episodes I and II technology is faaar advanced than that of Episode IV-VI. Bring back the good old TIE fighters and Star Destroyers!!

I would like to see:

1. A very well done transition of Anakin to Vader

2. A feeling of doom, war, hopelessness, etc

3. A good space battle

4. Introduction of the Victory-class star destroyer.

5. More Yoda-Fu :D

6. There's probably a few more, but I can't think of them right now....Oh, and better acting!!
What's her bust size!?

Mace Windu's death. SLJ asked Lusas for a good death scene, so I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait. :D

Natalie.Portman.nude. Screw the PG-13 rating! I wanna see some skin! :D

Someone other than George Lucas writing the dialogue.

1# The death of many, many Jedi. I don't like them, Stormtroopers are way cooler.

2# BLOOD! GL's been making the prequels more kiddie friendly, that has to stop. Some gore in the movies would be nice.

3# The death of Jar Jar binks, a SLOW and PAINFULL death that is.

4# I wanna to see Boba Fett kill Mace Windu. Preferably in 1-on-1 combat. I don't like the Jedi, bounty hunters are way cooler (even cooler then Stormtroopers).

5# I wan't it to be firmly established that the Emperor does NOT have or use a lightsaber. The Emperor is one of the coolest meanies ever, lowering him to the level of a mere Jedi by giving him a light saber would be a disgrace.

6# I wan't to hear James Earl Jones as Vader again.

7# As little of R2-D2 and C3-PO as possible (=none), they are just plain annoying. Never been a fan of "comic relief".

And I whole heartedly second Aya's notion. Maybe we should start a letter writing campaing?

You'll probably see a lot of dead Jedi.
2# BLOOD! GL's been making the prequels more kiddie friendly, that has to stop. Some gore in the movies would be nice.
When did any Star Wars films ever have any gore?
3# The death of Jar Jar binks, a SLOW and PAINFULL death that is.
This is actually possible; it may be the final evil act Anakin commits before turning completely to the Dark Side.
4# I wanna to see Boba Fett kill Mace Windu. Preferably in 1-on-1 combat. I don't like the Jedi, bounty hunters are way cooler (even cooler then Stormtroopers).
This is fairly probable.
5# I wan't it to be firmly established that the Emperor does NOT have or use a lightsaber. The Emperor is one of the coolest meanies ever, lowering him to the level of a mere Jedi by giving him a light saber would be a disgrace.
He's never needed it before.
6# I wan't to hear James Earl Jones as Vader again.
He's already been signed for some dialogue recording.
7# As little of R2-D2 and C3-PO as possible (=none), they are just plain annoying. Never been a fan of "comic relief".
I thought that R2 and 3PO provided a perfect balance on comic relief in the old trilogy. If they can be written like that for Episode III, so much the better.
And I whole heartedly second Aya's notion. Maybe we should start a letter writing campaing?
George doesn't care. It's his universe.

I just want to see a bad-ass spacebattle that'll put Endor to shame.

The cantina scene in ANH, the Hoth Snow monster, the Wampa innards, and Luke's hand all in TESB, but the point was that there needs to be more gore then there is. War isn't pretty, why pretend that it is?

I just don't like comic relief, IMHO even good comic relief is bad.

1. largest space battle ever seen in sci-fi.
2. I want to see the jedi order die a heroic death, taking on thousands of stormtroopers and wiping out hundreds (kinda like the arena scene in Ep. 2 but with no rescue on the way)
3. darth vader
4. the imperial military (Ect. ISD's Tie's and stormies)

I actually forgot about the inards scene in ESB. Anyways, how would Anakin killing Jar Jar be considered evil?

It wouldn't, it would probably be considered an act of mercy on the entire universe

Nah, I wan't to see the Jadi get massacered in a Stormtrooper surprise attack.

<Imagines a couple of E-Webs mowing down guys dressed as desert hermits, Thermal detonators schorching the hermit's robes, a sudden TIE strike blowing dozens of tattered corpses of the desert hermit looking dudes high in to the air... and the look on the faces of the remaining Jedi when they realize that they are going to die and that there is nothing that they can do about it (except die).> Bwa-ha-ha-haa!!!

That's your opinion and you'r welcome to it. I think the jedi order deserves a heroic death

Three words: Base Fucking Delta Zero. OK, that was four words.

The space battle to end all space battles.

Blood, guts, and suffering. PG-13 at least.

Mace Windu had better die a real kickass death, and I'll be extremely pissed off if he gets killed by an adolescent boy.

Lawrence Kasdan writing the script (will never happen, but would be nice).

What gave you that idea? :)

I would also like to see Chewie. Isn't he around 200 years old?

Alderaan would be nice to see a bit more of before it's destroyed in ANH.

I think chewie's about 250 years old but i'd have to check on that. Also more alderaan would defanatly be a good thing

I would like to see the replacement of Clonetroopers with recruited, non-cloned Stormtroopers - and particularly various cloners from across the galaxy complaining about this - not necessarily just the Kaminoans, although I'd like to see them make a cameo appearance...

(Let's face it, using clones for the entire Stormtrooper Corps would be far too expensive!)

I would personally also like to see less use of CGI. It was ambitious to use so much CGI, but it occassionally looked fake.

Maybe George Lucas IS going to bring in the clone wars as the EU had it. The clone troopers of the Republic go insane to be beaten down by the recruited stormtroopers that Senator Palpatine was secretly training. Remember in the EU, the Outbound Flight was supposed to be intercepted by a few of Palpatine's private troops. Maybe he's been raising a secret army?

It was Grand Admiral Thrawn who took it out.

Yes, but Thrawn first took out the task force Palpatine sent to take out the Outbound Flight.

1.) Stormies, RECRUITED good 'ol fashioned stormies.
2.) Vader, in action? He might pull out his blade one last time to slice up a few Jedi, or maybe he's so beyond them he simply slaughters them with the Force.
3.) Palpatines (hopefully spine-shivering) statement that the Republic is gone, and he has given life to the New Order, and that he is the Emperor of the GALACTIC EMPIRE!!! *cues Imperial March*
4.) The space battle to end all space battles. Something you can tell your fucking grandkids about, "Oh yes I saw the famous Battle of ____ when I was your age!"
5.) TIE Fighters, or some prototype version of them. And VSDs! I want VSDs! Curse your creativity GL, I WANT VSD!!!
