Actually, I found it kind of annoying. Something about a mouse's snout just isn't uplifting. I like this new one.

ach, it was the best avatar on the whole board. not a little manga thingy that everybody´s got. it was something different. also how often see pictures taken from mice in that postion. it was just a cool photo.

Bah, the rat was funny-looking, and hard to see. It wasn't anything special. then again, neither is his young Rei pic, but oh well.

But regardless, anime/manga avatars inherently kick ass; you just have to find one that isn't too typical, but even then they're so much better than the typical, boring photos or american art that everyone else has.

But if the idea bugs you that much, I believe there's an 'Anime sux' kiddie-corner on the board somewhere around here that's joinable or can at least be teamed-up with. I hear it's fun!
