Newt Gingrich told David Gregory on Sunday’s Meet The Press “the Republican party of today is incapable of competing” with a 2016 presidential run by Hillary Clinton.
Gingrich thinks “every Republican” should be focused on 2016 because of the severity of their defeat in 2012. Gingrich said that if Clinton were to run in four years, “supported by Bill Clinton and presumably a still relatively popular President Barack Obama, trying to win that will be, truly, the Super Bowl.”
Referring to the comments about the 47% made by Mitt Romney, Gingrich called it “an absurdity.” He didn’t, however, fault Romney entirely for the GOP loss this year. Gingrich told Gregory,
“I think this is much more than Mitt Romney. We didn’t blow it because of Mitt Romney, we blew it because of a party which has refused to engage the reality of American life and refused to think through what the average American needs for a better future.”

Excuse me if I don't believe a word that comes out of that mouth. His track record in political predictions is about as stellar as end-of-day religious preachers are with their predictions.
Gingrich still is a somewhat capable strategist, despite all his personal and political failures.

A decision must be made in the life of every nation at the very moment when the grasp of the enemy is at its throat. Then, it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy, to rest survival upon what is expedient, to look the other way. Well, the answer to that is 'survival as what'? Hillary wasn't going to win many swing voters, even before the GOP started being able to associate her with some of the more prominent fumbles of the Obama foreign policy. Call me crazy but Hillary is absolutely the LAST candidate I would nominate for the next presidential run if I wanted the Dems to win.
But she might very well get Democrats out to vote, which would be (probably) more important than the vanishingly small number of actually-undecided voters.

She might well lose them a decent hunk black vote though, which is far more relevant. Remember she did rather pointedly offend black voters with her "Hard Working Americans [white people] won't vote for Obama" diatribe in the 2008 election cycle.

Only true if she and Barack had not made up. People were saying Obama was doomed because of the Hillary voters offended by the way Obama treated her during debates. She could have won easily if she had won the nomination.
Hillary in 2016 speaking of would have Obama on her side and with Bill and Obama running around (I assume arm in arm) she'd have a powerful pull.
