I've yet to get the M7 MT, but the funniest thing I've ever seen one say was this:The Vortex Empire wrote:So I picked up the M7 MT to prepare for the new American line, and this thing is... different. Dies if anybody even looks at it wrong, but good speed and firepower. I'd really like it if it had better gun depression, but I've been getting pretty decent performance out of it.
"Sherman's retarded cousin reporting for duty."
I have had that almost happen. Sometimes it's a risk I know I'm taking, but I do it because they asked for fire support. Sometimes it happens because an ELC AMX or T-50 or something ran in there at my target all of a sudden and now there's a friendly in the target area I just condemned to death and/or severe maiming.Skywalker_T-65 wrote:I've found arty hate extends further than I thought. So this. It doesn't matter what kind of tank you are. Unless the enemy obstructs your ally from your fire or you're close enough that there's no way, just don't do it unless your guy is dead anyway. Back when I had my T1HT an idiot BDR-G1B fired at the KV-1 I was dueling and she didn't even wait for her gun to stabilize, hit me side-on and killed me. The KV-1 then managed to kill one of our TDs before it got finished off, and I had been about to kill it myself. We won anyway, but it was still quite annoying.Nephtys wrote:Seriously, if two tanks are in close combat... don't fire. Really, don't. Unless your guy is going to lose and lose hard, don't take the risk of SAVING THE ENEMY just so you can get a kill. There's lots of other targets to go for.
