Battle of the Morons
Ok, I know I've been posting a lot recently, but this one gets interesting. Wedge Antilles vs. Jar Jar Binks. I want you guys to avoid the "they'd end up killing themselves" thing. While it may be true... it just kills a string.

How can you possibly insinuate that Wedge is a moron? You're really starting to irk me.Queeb Salaron wrote:Ok, I know I've been posting a lot recently, but this one gets interesting. You HAVE to admit that Wedge is a bit of comic relief! Maybe moron is the wrong word, but c'mon... He's only ever a half-serious character.

The man as a character has shown at least intellignece and has almost been never been used even the same lveel of comedy relief that Jar-Jar or even the Ewoks on any level.

Yes, this is true. Wedge is intelligent. The point I was trying to make was that he was clumsy. And he tends to die a lot. That being said, is he even capable of fighting Jar Jar without dying?
Again, "moron" was the wrong word.

True. But Wedge also didn't get a whole lot of screentime. I was talking primarily about the books.

Where do you get this from? Wedge didn't strike me as being comic relief in the movies, and NEVER in the X-wing series.Queeb Salaron wrote:You HAVE to admit that Wedge is a bit of comic relief! Maybe moron is the wrong word, but c'mon... He's only ever a half-serious character.
Clumsy? Dies a lot? Arre we talking about the same person here?:|Yes, this is true. Wedge is intelligent. The point I was trying to make was that he was clumsy. And he tends to die a lot. That being said, is he even capable of fighting Jar Jar without dying?

That warrants a VI if anything ever did, Wedge is the greatest SW character ever, I would like to see you bag 2 death stars and if he doesn't know who Wedge is then he still deserves a VI .Queeb Salaron wrote:Ok, I know I've been posting a lot recently, but this one gets interesting. I thought this was a battle of the morons, so who is Queeb Salaron fighting?

He must be referring to Kenny from South park. That is the only character i can think of who dies a lot.Bartman wrote:I'm still confused. Even if this Queeb is somehow refering to Janson, Corran or Crusher, how can a character die a lot. Isn't that pretty much something a character can only do once? This isn't Highlander where the characters can survive a 'death' here and there.
