Should I just shut the hell up and work on fanfics?

The reason I ask this is that my opinions tend to be a lightning rod
of controversy and flameage, and turn perfectly good threads into
smoking wreckage...

Meanwhile, over in the Paradox forums, I'm respected because
I'm a good game mod author for HoI and because I listen to
comments and suggestions and improvements for my mod...

Maybe I should just limit myself to HAB and fanfics...

Whaddya think?

While I've never gotten into it with you personally, there would appear to be some grounds for the two of us hating each other's guts. Well, I don't hate you Shep, nor do I have a knee-jerk reaction to anything you post. Most of the time I get a kick out of what you bring here.

Just don't confront people. If you feel the need to flame Marina, Dalton, Stormbringer or somebody else, in an otherwise normal thread, just count from one to twenty and take a deep breath.

Continue posting interesting articles, flaming trolls and maintaining "normal" conversations and it will be perfect.

There's a difference between conversing and rabidly carrying on vendettas and feuds against people. Your behaviour with regards to Marina, Einy, and Alyrium has NOT been discussion; it has been a vendetta, and it's pissing a lot of people off. I tolerate flames on this board, but if you want to carry on a fucking long-running feud, take it somewhere else.

I admire your military knowledge, and your fics are second to none when the blasters hit the bone. God's given you a gift for writing fanfics, it would be a shame to waste it.
