Coca-Cola. It does taste better. The difference is not all that great, but it is there. But I won't touch the "light" version of any soft drink if it's sweetened with aspartame, which rules out the lemon twist version of Coke. The Pepsi Twist is good, however. Blue Pepsi... urrgh! We really need a barf smiley.

As for citrus soft drinks, Fanta makes utter shit apart from the Exotic. Then again, that might be because I'm used to the ones made by Hartwall, the Jaffa brand, they don't taste quite as artificial.

As can I. A similar taste test was held when I was in elementary school, and I had a 100% success rate.

Personally i'm not a fan of soft drinks. Carbonated drinks make me fart. I drink water with my meals, Tea anyother time and in the bar i drink Guinness. The only carbonated drink i consume regularily would be Smirnoff Ice.

You CANNOT beat Cherry Coke. It is literrally impossible. Should you be able to beat it, the universe itself would collapse in on itself, its epicenter being Pepsi HQ, wherever the fuck that is. I have never once in my life had anything come close to being anywhere near as good as Cherry Coke.

Anyways, Coke has that kick that Pepsi can only hope to have one day. Plus they load the fucker up with sugar like you wouldn't believe.

They LOOK different as well. Pour a glass of pepsi and coke together, and the foam is a slightly different color. The carbonation feels different in the mouth, also. A bunch of college kids with undeveloped palates of course wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

True, but it was a blind taste test in my case.

Personally caffeine-free drinks are a godsend for me. If I get any caffeine in my system after about noon or so I ain't getting to sleep till 3am if I'm lucky, which is why I'm quite happy that 'Dew ain't got that kick in it in Canada, and which is why I rarely drink Coke these days.

Back in the 80's and early 90's I would have said they tasted the same. But Pepsi seems to have made serious attempts at enhancing the taste, so I go with pepsi.

Hmm... this just further shows that people in this board does not represent the norm. At surveys done, it is found that people likes pepsi better (reason why they changed how coke tasted but quickly changed back when people hated them for breaking tradition).
