The Jumbo? Nope, highest I got in the American tanks was the T1 (in retrospect I should have gone for the Sherman though).

The Black Prince is dead! Long live the Caernarvon!

I've been saving up free XP and jumped straight for treads, turret and the 20pdr-A and the first few battles indicate what the stats seem to show. It's a faster King Tiger armed with an 88L/71. And has gun depression!

Once I get an engine in the thing, it should be even better.

The Crusader retains my love as well. I'm being forced to learn how to medium drive. Luckily, the Crusader is a really, really nice tank to drive. Perhaps not as combat effective as some of its tiermates, but I don't care. To *drive*, it's quite brilliant.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

Victory!
Battle: Abbey Wednesday, January 23, 2013 7:42:44 PM
Vehicle: T-150
Experience received: 3,512 (x2 for the first victory each day)
Credits received: 38,155
Battle Achievements: Steel Wall, Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker"

Good God, what a wonderful tank! Match highlights include solo-killing a TOG from beyond its effective range and then fighting off both a Tiger and another T-150 simultaneously, killing both while under artillery fire. Ladies and gentlemen, the T-150! It's the tank that just won't quit!

There's enough awesome in a T-150 for both of us. :D

I finally got my IS-3 again (used to have one in beta). Did a couple of fairly good matches in it but I don't appear to make much money with it (or even loose a bit :? ). Oh well, at least it's a fun tank to play with.

Tier 8 is where the money sink effect begins.

The fact that you lose money in an IS-3 is basically intentional to induce you to pay for a premium account or tank for credit farming.

You guys are bastards for making me to want a T-150 as well. Maybe I'll sell the KV-1 which I have forever.

Pity... oh well, as long as I'll have fun with it and can afford driving it...

I wouldn't advise selling a KV-1 for the T-150 if you've been keeping the former for a long time. The KV is just as fun in its own way, and the grind to a fully upgraded T-150 sucks. It only really shines with the final engine and the 107mm.

KV-1 also has another unique property: It's one of the most on-average profitable non-premium tanks in the game. I think it's profitability is only exceeded by (oddly enough), the French BDR.

They've said that they'll never re-release the Type 59. It's too flexible and well rounded for a premium, which are usually by design hideously deficient in one major area.

Hell. The fact that Type 59 is a serious contender for best Tier 8 medium (better than the T-44) is problem enough.

Victory!

Experience received: 3.626 (x2 for the first victory each day)
Credits received: 37.920 (compensation for damage caused by allies: 15)

Best round with my 13 75 till now. Damaged 8 enemies, killed 6 would have gotten confederate if not for the topgun. Killed an m37, amx 12t, amx 50 100, centurion I, jagdtiger 8.8cm and a loewe. Also damaged a type 59 and a su 5. At the end of the game I was down to 2 ap shells, good thing it ended there.

For the temporary NA event, tier 3. For normal CW, there isn't one, but if you don't bring a full team of tier 10s you'll be extremely lucky to make any progress.

Victory!
Battle: Redshire Saturday, January 26, 2013 4:33:28 PM
Vehicle: T-28
Experience received: 1,470 (x2 for the first victory each day)
Credits received: 13,553
Battle Achievements: Top Gun

Never expected to get Top Gun in that particular tank, but somehow, I did. Stuff I killed: An M8A1 who tried to rush my team's arty, a Hetzer (directly through the front, no less), two of the enemy's own SPGs (just one short of Pascucci's Medal), an SAu-40 foolish enough to turn his back to me (and subsequently got his engine lit on fire for it), and a Panzer III too concerned with another Panzer III on his front to notice me hammering away at his side.
I ship Eino Ilmari Juutilainen x Lydia V. Litvyak.

Defeat
Battle: Murovanka Saturday, January 26, 2013 5:32:29 PM
Vehicle: Churchill VII
Experience received: 379
Credits received: 11,180
Battle Achievements: Steel Wall, Sniper, Cool-Headed

I hate losing in Encounter battles due to base capture. Sure, I was top XP earner on my team, and I got those achievements, but they mean nothing.

Man, I've been wondering for a long time what the big deal with the Cromwell was and I was glad that the Comet is almost getting into range... until I noticed I forgot fitting its top gun. Been driving with a pea shooter the whole time, assuming it was the best I could get

Just picked up the E-50, and man. The platform itself is great, but this is gonna be painful until I can get rid of the 88mm L/71. Great gun, but not in any way adequate for a tier 9 tank.

Reddit and SIMP tied in the finals, and tie goes to nobody. Because it was the finals, there was nobody else to win, so NYC went to nobody.

Clan wars, they're running an event to bring in the North America map (poorly), they had NYC, Chicago, St. Louis and Atlanta have big tournaments, and see above for the results of the NYC one.

Course they're resetting because of the snafu that the landing tournies were so it doesn't stand, but man was it funny.

I had a strange match today. My team had a tier spread of 4-5. The enemy team had a tierspread of 2-7. This should be impossible. My team had no T6,T7 unlike the enemy team... The match ended with a 15:12 victory for my team...
