What do you sound like?

Bleh, American accents are too nasal for me though some are good. I hate the stereotypical accents of many countries actually, though the best is apparently the stereotypical Oz accent, Steve Irwine like. That gets the ladies going I hear.

I also like to mention I hate Geordie, Cockney and Scouse accents. The best is the Brummie one if only because I piss myself laughing at them when they talk, it's just quite simply the funniest damn accent ever!

I was born in Jersey myself, but my parents were both born and raised in Washington State, so I don't have much of any sort of accent (at least none that I can tell).

Born in Paterson, lived in Middlesex and Toms River for the first 13 years of my life. I still say 'coffee' like a Jersey girl even though I've lived in Maryland for about 12 years now.

A kind of old recording

The codec I used to record it with was shit, so it's not of terribly good quality. I could also have used a much better mic (it was some old thing from Radio Shack that was designed for a cassette recorder...

)

What, Americans don't have accents, only foreigners has those! As for my voice, when I'm out of the city, everyone says that I sound like I'm from another country. Dunno why, I don't talk differently and for the most part they don't sound that different (when I say out of the city I mean like the suburbs).

Durandal, you sound nothing like I expected. Does your voice sound like that just because you were weirding it out for the commercial?

Now off to hear my recordings of you guys. Post to tell me if I sound like you thought I would and/or if the link works.
