It won't matter to us, because we'll all be dead.

Nope, everyone. If there are two people left alive, they'd still probably find something to fight about. Or their children would. If there's one person left alive then it doesn't really matter does it?

Marx thought that when a communist state was established and the world was commie, people would hang around all day reading the classics.

lmfao

so what will we do when we MAYBE achieve international peace? We'll prepare for the next big war. Nothing lasts forever.

What happens? Everybody will get bored. Or maybe we would be more productive, since everything is agreeable. We'd be like ants of a nest.

The world would suck hairy scrotum, that's what would happen. It's our differences in opinion that make us interesting, among other things. Differences in opinion sometimes cause conflict; it's as natural as anything. If differences in opinion DIDN'T cause conflict, then we'd have a whole lot of counterproductive activity with one group of people shouting at lawmakers to make balanced laws, and lawmakers only making the laws that suit them best, and never changing because there is no conflict to tell them to change.

That one person could still drink all the alchohal and play video games all day, so I say it kinda does matter.

Although he would have to resort to necrophillia for his other needs, although I suppose that would wear out real fast.

Maybe it could work out if there was another person in a coma.

If there were only one person left alive on earth, then they would most likely be soon forced to a primitive existance. No playing video games when you don't have anyone to run the power plants. It would be long years of lonely farming. How long would you last under those conditions? How long would your mind last? In the end, they die anyways, so you still end up with humanity gone; the only true way for us to have total peace.

If it was possible, it would mean that humans had become so profoundly different as a species that for all intents and purposes humanity as we know it would be extinct. Let's face it, humanity is a bunch of opportunistic, greedy, and violent animals.

Everyone becomes like Australia - why? Because you will have all fallen before the great Empire of the South (that is covertly ruled behind the scenes by New Zealand, and in turn by Tasmania).

There is another possibility : the mandatory abuse of drugs.

Only through a totalitarin government with uber amounts of power could achieve this for a whole global civilization. Maybe by putting people in Matrix-like pleasure simulations or something, like copying their minds onto giant servers.

Or conditioning, but that's kinda arbitrary.

Still, you'd have to do a lot of oppressing to achieve total peace.

Not gonna happen, it's human nature to fuck one another over and I don't mean sexually.

Only if we all died (Human Instrumentality Project?) then we'd all be at peace.

If there aws one person left, he'd probably fight with an animal over something, or fight with himself. Animals fight too, you'll have to get rid of them.

There will always be fightimng as long as there is human life, unless they have the exact same interests and viewpoints.

We fuck it up and end up worse off than we ever were.

EDIT: Oh, and if there were no disagreements, we'd all be brainwashed. There are a number of undesirable potential scenarios that could fit the criteria you listed. We could all be in a Ned Flanders world where everyone is a repressed Christian. We could be in a totalitarian dictatorship imposing its will on us through force and fear. In that case, there would be a rebellion so we could get back to real freedom, which includes the freedom to disagree, commit crimes, et cetera ...

No crime and war are possible, though unlikely. No disagreements OTOH, will never happen because we have finite resources and will disagree over how to use them.

Unanswerable question, at least from a human standpoint, its like asking what happens when we end physics. As long as there are humans where going to have all of those.

no war,
Even more desirable, and yet even more unlikely. If all but one nation disarmed next year, then the following year every other nation would have to re-arm itself to defend itself against that one dissident nation.
no disagreements, etc.
This is the one that scares me. A world where disagreements are impossible is a world without freedom, without diversity, without art. It would be conformity at its most bland.
