Given the scenes I've seen on the telly, how in the hell does one escape that place? They did everything but send the entire National Guard to Boston and have Global Hawks run recce from above.

They actually do have the National Guard in there, along with the city, local, and state police. Haven't heard about Global Hawks, but they have had Blackhawk choppers in the mix.

I suspect he's been holed up somewhere today, maybe catching a nap. Eventually, though, he'll have to move.

The media seems to be going back and forth on if it was blood found in a boat, a body found in a boat, or the suspect is hold up in a boat that led into the exchange of fire.

I was just thinking about the whole open broadcast thing too as I listened in. I imagine it'd be harder getting the American police forces to switch to something like TETRA or any digital system given some of the problems of the past. Oh, and SECRET POLICE tinfoil hattery.

Some of the cops themselves with radios were pointing webcams or microphones at their radios. Can't stop the signal Mal.

Wonder how that went down. Willingly, or via force? Either way, now we can probably start unravelling this little enigma over the actions these brothers took. I'm glad one of them was taken in at least.

Supposedly a medevac is being called in, so the guy must've been taken down fighting rather than negotiated out.

He was apparently wounded the night before as they found blood in the house, which was what alerted the homeowner that something was wrong. Police responded, there was another exchange of gunfire, he was possibly wounded again. They then spent several hours just endlessly bombarding the boat with stun/flashbang/tear gas grenades, and then sent in a robot to tip the boat over, which dislodged him from cover. He was then taken into custody. He is apparently severely wounded, and may not survive, like his brother.

Between the bullets and the flash-bangs I'd say it was the latter.

The homeowner apparently found blood in/around the house and at the boat, at which point he alerted the police so the suspect was likely wounded last night to one degree or another. Apparently when the cops showed up gunfire was exchange, flash-bangs and tear gas thrown in the boat, then a remote controlled robot tipped the boat over dislodging the person inside. I gather the cops yelled at him to surrender for awhile, but he might have been too injured to really do anything effectively. Keep in mind, he's lost blood since this morning and probably has had little or no food or water since yesterday.

Let's just say he's had a rough day, hmmm?

Frankly, if he loses a few of his limbs I won't shed a tear.

It's the least of his concerns right now, personally knowing how rough Jack Bauer's average day is. I await the courtroom drama prior to them burying him under a prison.
