People don't like to do things they don't like if they don't want to. A lot of people don't want to blow their brains out, even though all you gotta do is point and click.

Ok, misphrased that, I ment to say peopole usually don't do instead of don't like to do. Thinking the start of one sentance and put on the end of another.

It's not like we were hiding this thread to insult you behind your fucking back, unless you noticed we kept posting the link to this to try to get you to defend your fucking claims and now your doing this shit instead of debating.

Lets debate about this image then. How big is that rock being destroyed?

Thats not the point, if you want to try to debate the size of the asteroid in ESB do it in your own thread, this thread is for defending your bullshit about the Enterprise incendent.

Well, The debate on Enterprise is on the Size of the mountain, what I want to know is how big is this rock in ESB. It is a theory of mine.

It's a 40 meter wide asteroid vaporized by a 1/15 second burst from a light-turbolaser.

Ok, so, this rock is 40 meters, but that is based on the size of the Falcon right? But Star Wars.com says that the Falcon is 26.7 meters long. So the rock, in length, in that pic should be and really it is 26 meters long.

So it is smaller than what everyone says. So I am not the only one that missed size by a lot.

You do realize the rock is bigger than the Falcon, but the Falcon is used to accurately scale it? Or is this thought too big for you?

I sit corrected: They are scaled against the ISD itself.

The rock is clearly far away from the Ship.

That'd be why I corrected myself.

Ok, I did some research, the length of the sauser section is 438 feet 133.5 m, the distance between the phaser banks is about 1/6.75th the length of the sauser, or 19.8 m. Now, although the beams have been show to be converging, lets say they fired perfectly straight. The base of the mountain is about 6 times the seperation of the beams at the top, that makes the base about 118.8 m wide, lets use that as the diameter,
(being generous to trek, since it would be a lot smaller since it's in no way spherical. That gives the NX 1.7 kiloton saying it was fragmented, 6.4 megatons saying it was vaporized.

This still meens it is 118.8 m vs 27.6 m.How many megatons does it take to destroy 27 meters of rock.

He just said. 1.7 to blast it apart, which is consistant with visuals, and even quite generous.

Your missing, the ISD vaporized the asteroid, the NX-E blew it up. Also the rock of that moon appears to be more like granite, while the asteroids in ESB were shown to be Nickle-Iron in a pervious debate.

So Sovereign, since you're arguing a new topic, does that mean you've conceeded defeat regarding the Enterprise's phase cannons?

The fact that he ran away from this thread pretty much says he conceded.
