Louisiana Republicans blame Obama for poor Katrina response

Okay, this article, and its poll, should NOT be taken at face value. It's not an excuse to mock the GOP universally, but simply the results of a poll which should at least evoke a smirk.

Public Policy Polling, on surveying Louisiana GOP members, found that 29% blamed Obama for the poor response to Katrina...which you'll recall happened three years before he took office. And 44% said they weren't sure who was more to blame.

If you could trust polls, this would be hilarious no matter which political party had fielded its finest nitwits.

PPP's record is pretty solid. I don't see a reason not to trust this one, considering that the derangement of hating Obama is easily that level.

Of course Obama is responsible. Its been that way for a long time. His mother and grandparents were in a conspiracy to have him illicitly made an American citizen because one day he would become President. And while he was still a Junior Senator in Illinois he was going to be directly responsible for crippling the Katrina recovery effort and marginalizing Bush back when everyone still thought Hillary would win the 2008 election.

It is all very obvious.

Not many Louisiana Republicans live in New Orleans. I'd say a good chunk of them couldn't tell you what year the storm hit. Ignorance and blind hatred is a toxic brew.

As a Louisiana native, I blame Bush. I was there.
