I'm a pretty Openminded guy, especially for a Southern Baptist. If you don't believe in God, fine. Won't eat beef cause you think it offends some Higher Being? Okey-dokey. Like men? Whatever floats your boat, just don't be loud about it.

But I draw the line at Talking Carp. Even Hebrew-speaking Carp, which is a very difficult language and is impressive to know under any circumstances. This falls under VirginMary-shaped ketchup stains.

One thing that I think is worthy of serious discussion though;
He looked around to see if the voice had come from the slop sink, the other room or the shop's cat.
Must be a pretty impressive cat. Mine can speak only two languages, Bad English and Worse English. :wink:

Personally, I think they are a pair of meshugenehs, but they do have quite a bit of chutzpah to be telling that kind of story.

Really? My roommate said he was full of carp.

Also, let me get this straight, he sold a Talking fish? He should have kept it around long enough to let James Randi see it and fork over the $1 mil

Not just sold, but BUTCHERED and sold. The only witness to this "miracle" destroyed and got rid of the evidence. Sure, no credability problems here... :roll:

How is a talking fish any dumber than a talking shrubbery, as written in Scripture?

As already commentated, that shrub was on fire, therefore being very different.

Even more remarkable, The fish suddenly devolped the lungs ot force the air through the voice box. The shrubbery could let the wind go through it's leaves...

Yeah, I know I'm reaching. Stop judging me!

Okay, we should have the government investigate this. Not to find if it's true or not, but to see what these people are smoking, and how much of it they have. It just might be the biggest drug bust ever.
