Just out of curiousity, who are the creators of the videos?

Brady Haran is the name of the guy responsible, but the University of Nottingham helps out with this project, as well as Numberphile and Periodic Table of Videos. I've watched all of them, and they're just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the educational videos section of Youtube.

The original project was the Periodic Table of Videos which was a project to literally build a periodic table of Youtube videos - each video relates to an element on the periodic table. Here's the site:

http://www.periodicvideos.com/

The project has since evolved to other fields - first sixty symbols for the physics department, then numberphile etc. I think his latest channel is computerphile.

Apart from University of Nottingham's various projects, I also like minutephysics: http://www.youtube.com/minutephysics

and Veritasium: http://www.youtube.com/1veritasium

Been watching the periodic videos in order from oldest to newest for several days now. Professor Poliakoff looks like science incarnate.
