SO I am looking to 'hire' a 3d molder...
I know there are more than a few people on the forum who are quite skilled in the art of 3D design and CG modeling.
Well there is a project I have been working on for quite some time, and would very much like to find someone to make it a "Reality" as much as possible.
The item in question is basically a 1930's style art deco Office tower of my own design. It has existed in various incarnations over the years, but I have decide I would love to have it made "Incarnate" in a form I can admire from different views. My REAL Goal is to hopefully have a model to upload to google Earth to see how it would look if inserted in NewYork city. Some pics of the Tower are as follows.
Anyone skilled with making buildings or structures are appreciated, however anyone who wants to take on the challenge may apply

I'm currently trying to get into Sketchup, so I'd like to get a shot at this.
Here's my flat and 3 hours of my life wasted in Sketchup: (2 hours annoying my flatmate with a yardstick and notepad )

Once again, BLOODY HELL!
That is amazing work!
(composes himself)
Proportion wise it LOOKS Perfect.
I know my own 'measurements' such as they are, were based upon the "Lego" model I cooked up.
I also found another pic of it showing my attempt to put in individual stories:

ALso…
Considering your level of work… Um,
how much am I going to owe you?

No charge, . It's going to take me a while, as I currently don't have a computer at home...
Use these windows or no? They don't look as good as I thought they would. Probably make windows more similar to the other pics.

Re: SO I am looking to 'hire' a 3d molder...
They would need to be smaller…
Squinting at the window sizes I count 4stories in "the base" and 7 stories in the "Second block"
I have to say though it will be tricky, I don't know how you are modeling this, but you may want to Increase the over all size of the tower, so the window have more space, otherwise they will get very very tiny. Of course again I don't know how your program works, so don't know if it's even possibly to just "make it bigger"
I don't know how easy it is to see in the "Lego" mockup, but the sizes should be going..
First block: 5 stories (although the base floor would be slightly large as it's intended to have big windows for shops before it goes to the smaller windows of the 'office space' size.
Second block 8 stories.
Third black. 10 in total, 4 stories for the lower section, 6 stories for the four "mini towers"
Forth Block: 10.
'Central Tower' 30
Upper block. 8.
Observation level 2.
And then finally the "crown" which I never real decided on, but I am loving your version so far.
(I actually decided it on the "Temple of Zuul" from ghostbusters, and it looks great!!!)
