Depends, if we are talking physical violence, then see the Q vs Han and Chewie thread. If we are talking about 'magic' (read force and Q-ness) then I think Q is un-beatable.

Well, the physical violence thing has pretty much been covered in the Q vs. HaC thread. As far as the "magic" thing goes, that might be tougher. But Q could have a lot more fun with someone who has Force abilities. Tougher trap for a smarter rat, you might say... lol

The only thing we've ever seen a Sith Lord do damage to, though, are physical objects. A Sith would have a better shot at effectively damaging a Q by trying to hurt his mind than his physical avatar (really just a physical icon for his mind). Just depends on how powerful a Q's mind really is; The Sith Lord might still be trying to blow up an Abrams tank with a pellet-gun, to use a metaphor.

At face value, the average Sith Lord would get his ass absolutely whooped by the average Q. But if this is talking about an upper-range Sith Lord (or one who has some kind of boost/focus like the Valley of the Jedi), then it is a lot harder to tell.
