Remember when I claimed that the Ark of the Covenant could have been a primitive electricity source?? Today, 18:00 (6AM), Discovery Channel is airing the show that suggested this idea.

Any comments?

Most likely bullshit. The Discovery Channel continues its downward spiral.

I also watched it... and it turned out to be the right series, but NOT the episode where they claimed that the Ark was a primitive electromagnetic device.

I used to gobble this type of misinformation up when I was a kid, but I eventually realized its just crap. These types of shows do a great disservice to young kid's education. It doesn't teach them to think critically.

Somebody smack these guys upside the head with Occam's Razor.

No wait, no potatoes in the biblical times. They come from the Americas, silly me. What else could be used to make electricity? ...Lanttu, can't remember what they are called in English, Brassica Napus is their Latin name, but in any case I bet that you can use them to make electricity.

Where the hell did they get that idea? Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Hopefully, they didn't say that God made the electricity.
