I'm still in favor of a dual to settle the whole thing, but with aircraft. Each gets the best there country has to offer. So former fighter pilot Bush gets an F-22, while no formal military training Saddam gets an MiG-29.Enlightenment wrote:Shrubby's just told Saddam to get out of town--errr, Iraq--in 48 hours or Shrubby will come out shooting.

I'll go for that. Much better for two madman to kill eachother than for 10,000+ to get killed in a duel-by-proxy.Sea Skimmer wrote:I'm still in favor of a dual to settle the whole thing, but with aircraft. He demanded that Saddam and his sons leave Iraq. Plus, I think that soldiers would interpret an order from either of Saddam's sons as the same as an order from Saddam.Exonerate wrote:I'm waiting for him to goof up... You forgot he included Saddam's sons too.
I'd trust him. He's an evil bastard. 1 US Death for a 1000 Iraqis any bet takers?Enlightenment wrote:The BBC has an utterly priceless picture of Shrubby on the story page:
Is that really the look of someone you'd want to trust with anything more than a blunt crayon let alone 3000 nuclear weapons?

It's under their country so there for it's their oil. Why is that so ridiculous?fgalkin wrote:The "oil is property of Iraqi people" is ridiculous.Stormbringer wrote:Why not? If the oil in Iraq is the property of Iraqi people i guess the oil in Texas is the property of all American people.fgalkin wrote:The "oil is property of Iraqi people" is ridiculous.Stormbringer wrote:Why not?
