Fucking ugly blue fucking podracer shit!! How the hell are you supposed to get out of the cockpit with that wing thingy on top of it?! Do enter it like astromechs in a Naboo fighter? From below?! And why the hell would you put podracer engines on a fucking spacecraft!? If that fucking thing is in the movie and not immediately shot down in the first scene it is in, GL can expect a team of evil ninjas to be his last sight!!!

Yeah, that's my biggest complaint. What were they smoking when they did THAT?IG-88E wrote:Why the fuck is the astromech directly in front of the cockpit? Not only does that limit your view, it'll distract you every time the astromech moves its head. Dumb as shit.
As for the rest of it, it's not too bad...I don't like the front and think it coulda been smoother up there, but that aside (and the astromech in front), the rest looks rather nice to me.

Those big freakin' engines in front are just begging to be shot. They're completely unprotected, like a podracer's. If that fighter ended up in the same fight scene as Kenobi's Aethersprite, it would have been worse off, since the debris from the asteroids would probably have FODded the front engines all to bits.

Of course, that implies the engines have some sort of intake, which is foolish in and of itself.
Also notice that the engines are at the extreme bottom of the ship, forcing it to fly nose-up, which means the engines will be continually firing against the bottom of the hull

True. I was going off the appearance of the engines, which look like Podracer engines. BEsides, didn't an X-Wing suffer something like that during the first Death Star battle? I could have sworn I remembered one with something flying into the top starboard engine...Howedar wrote:Of course, that implies the engines have some sort of intake, which is foolish in and of itself.
Eh? I don't follow why it'll have to fly nose-up. Would you mind explaining that one to me?Also notice that the engines are at the extreme bottom of the ship, forcing it to fly nose-up, which means the engines will be continually firing against the bottom of the hull

The center of thrust is below the center of mass, hence it can't fly straight unless it can vector the thrust into the bottom of the ship.

Just attach a pair of UFP-ish engine pods to it, therefore combining the down-thrust and up-thrust designs, yeah!Howedar wrote:The center of thrust is below the center of mass, hence it can't fly straight unless it can vector the thrust into the bottom of the ship.
*Looks around, then ducks behind cover* Hey, HEY! It's only a joke! IT'S ONLY A JOKE!!!

Seriously, I think that a design more along the lines of the TIE series would be appropriate for Anakin's "prelude to later darkness", but that's just my opinion.

The only good thing I see out of it is that the cockpit won't be easily shot from behind..... but it's very GOD DAMN exposed in other vectors.....
It's too wide also.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Gentlemans, that one is pretty ugly...
That being said, this is one ugly mother (and the cockpit-with-a-fin-on-top doeshave a batmobileish flavour...)
