I'll probably stump y'all with this:

Have a Handspring Visor with Sprint PCS Digital Link, through which I can browse the internet on Blazer (a Palm OS web browser). Is there an effective firewall for that (or any firewall)?

Sure.

My favorite:

The allmighty Cisco Pix 500

Just put this at your Gateway.

Might take some configuration on your part ;)

SpywareGuard is a program designed to work as an antivirus, but for spyware. It's a great way to enforce a Defense In Depth solution when combined with SpywareBlaster and the other programs here in this thread. Remember, a good firewall and antivirus are still required to deal with more "conventional" threats.

AFAIK, there is no firewall for PalmOS, though I doubt there's any real security risks involved.

I don't think that his PCS DigitalLink will accept being plugged into a PIX...which seems out of his price range, anyways

Just a update:

Spybot Search & Destroy have the same features as Spyware Blaster now.

Image

It apears to find some stuff to block that Spyware Blaster don't have.

But there is no harm in running both of them :D
