Ah, why not? :P
The bit at the end with pac-man's creator made me chuckle. Hopefully they didn't just stick the best joke in the trailer...
Yeah, I've always taken the subtext of the Birther movement to be, "The rules don't count here! This is different! HE'S BLACK! BLACK, I SAY! ARE YOU ALL BLIND!?

Destiny and fate are for those too weak to forge their own futures. Where we are 'supposed' to be is irrelevent.

Well Sandler only has a story credit not writing or directing, so it might be good.

I remember hearing about this last year. Gamers save the world from retro games? Including space invaders? And Peter Dinklage is in it? Yeah, I'm going if I remember to set aside a little for my ticket.

From the trailer, it kind of seems like there's some "super secret government agency" that provides the gear, with Sandler et al somehow being chosen as the best ones to carry out the defense/attacks - maybe in-universe we'll see that they were like record-holding champions for the various games?

Heard about this movie quite some time ago, and was fairly excited about it coming out as a "Mindless Action Popcorn flick"
Saw some promo art, looked good, felt hopeful. And then...

Then, I find it has Adam Sandler as main actor. PASS

Yeah, that's a huge turn off for this movie.

Unless word of mouth says it's really good, the casting of Adam Sandler means it's almost certainly a pass.
