It is not just presumably in two of those cases.

Not so Chibi anymore Usa:

Chibi-Usa came under influence of the dark side and had a growth spurt in Sailor Moon R.

Sasami and Tsunami:

Tsunami is Sasami's adult form and a goddess that saved the life of Sasami when she had an accident when she was young.

Well, as shown before, two of them have been cononically done as older forms, and someone(I think it's on either Megatokyo or Tsunami Channel) did a really cool non-H pic of an 18-year-old Sakura.

But I normally prefer not to think of them in "that" way period. It's kinda like the Olsen Twins, only I actually like them on GP.

That goes for you too. ~ Stormbringer

You missed the SMSS episode where Chibi-Usa and Usagi switched ages, too ;)

Oh, I know, but I tend to seperate Tsunami and Sasami.

It varies with the artist, some do make them older (Sailormoon, Eva, Harry Potter oddly enough  ) while others make them younger, (Love Hina, Harry Potter).
Well, making them older is one thing (and hell, Hermoine Granger is cute now and probably will become very attractive), but younger? Ick.

Anime fans scare me, and I'M an Anime fan.
I am capable of rearranging the fundamental building blocks of the universe in under six seconds. I shelve physics texts under "Fiction" in my personal library! I am grasping the reigns of the universe's carriage, and every morning get up and shout "Giddy up, boy!" You may never grasp the complexities of what I do, but at least have the courtesy to feign something other than slack-jawed oblivion in my presence. I, sir, am a wizard, and I break more natural laws before breakfast than of which you are even aware!

I keep making jokes about the fact that the Harry Potter gang is going to be Sixteen in the next book.

Wait until you meet the otakus, or worse the hardcore otakus.

A couple of doujins I've seen all of them look old enough to really be in college. [/i]

I get my anime at discount because I know the wife of a local ADA who fell in love with him when she was an exchange student from Tokyo.

Needless to say, I can't get anything bad/illegal from her.

If I want lemons I have to visit San Francisco and spend a couple of nights at my brother's aptment (read Warehouse) in Oakland.

I've seen Otaku no Video, so I suppose that's close to meeting some Hardcore Otaku. What I dislike the most is that the Japanese merchendise everything to an extent not seen since "Spaceballs, the Flamethrower". The fact that there are people who buy the stuff is even more disturbing.

However, I have yet to encounter someone unable to tell a Doujinshi(sp) from the actual thing.

Oh, and on a side note, mister Ultra-Violence... something you really ought to watch. A bit of a horror-slasher anime, entitled Kite. Kind of the opposing theme of A Clockwork Orange, but still along the lines of beleivable human vileness.
I've seen the partially-cut version of Kite, and I've read about the uncut, uncensored version (I'm not sure the version I watched is available here--I know the uncut, uncensored version isn't. I think the one on store shelves in the US is heavily edited). I've got the uncut, uncensored version on my hard drive, unwatched. The partial cut I saw didn't really place an emphasis on the core hypocrisy of the story that is quite evident in the uncut version. I wish they could have done it without all the graphicness, though. The story makes a point, but it gets lost in the graphic sex scenes.
The ending pissed me off, though.

The biggest problem I've got with Dojinshi is mostly how out-of-character the characters become. I'm sorry, but Belldandy isn't going to participate in an orgy with her mini-goddesses and Skuld, and Shinji isn't going to be having bondage sex with every character in Eva.
Then there's the character design changes where they sprout giant H-cups and 13" waists...

You've got a good point with Belldandy, but come on! Shinji is, like, ablaze with lust! You know he would if he could! Re: End of Eva

With Shinji's mind the way it is, I wouldn't be surprised by anything he does.

If it's going to turn into a discussion of anime characters I'm just going to lock this thread. Consider this fair warning.

And cocks.

As for the otaku who lust over cartoon/anime characters, you gotta understand, many of these are Gen-Xers. They were raised by cartoons.

I just watched Words Worth... and I was thinking, after the guy loses his memory and bangs the girl at the bridge after saving her, who was her father? That kinda freaked me out. Just the possibility, I mean... maybe she's exactly 20 years old?

If you guys want to discuss anime do it elsewhere. I'm closing this thread now since it's clear the subject is dead.
