Force Precog and Blasters
Just a comment. If a Jedi that's stuck with a blaster is going against a Jedi with a lightsaber, would the blaster Jedi be able to use The Force to tell where the other Jedi would be placing his Lightsaber, and thus be able to hit the other Jedi with his shots?

Hmm. I suppose it would depend on the force-sensitivity of the user; the more powerful force sensitive would likely win. That said, other things being equal, I would still give the advantage to the Jedi with the lightsaber.

Hmmm, the blaster Jedi may be able to tell where the Lightsaber Jedi is going to put his lightsaber, but then its also the other way around. Given Jeid reflexes though, I think the L-Jedi might be able to manuver his blade back to the correct postion of the bolt if necesary.
Also remember that this whole time the L-Jedi would be advancing on the B-Jedi, thenthwip!Off with his head. Without any defenses, I would think the B-Jedi would lose.

I agree that L-jedi would probably end up winning, at least against a BLASTER jedi.
Now, assuming that Force sensitivity is about he same, but the blaster guy with a weapon that has a really high rate of fire, or powerful shots (e.g, the deck guns on Jabba's ship in ROTJ Novel hurt luke when he blocks the shots, and "would have knocked him down but for the strengh of his mechanical right hand"), I think Lightsaber Jedi would have too much on his hands to be able to advance AT FIRST, but eventually would figure out a way to outsmart the other Jedi, such as Force-pulling the gun from the other's hands, or (if L-Jedi happens to be Corran Horn or Darth Vader (yes, Vader could do this, remember ESB)) absorb the power from a shot and use it to temporarily do some major Force stuff, or things they can't to normally do.
Erm, all the above is dependant on the type of "laser" projectile weapon the B-Jedi has, but if L-Jedi is Corran Horn with his dual-phase lightsaber, he would probably figure out a way to work that extra length in somewhere, no matter what the gun.

Jedi with lightsabres are consistently able to block Sith who are also using lightsabres, so I'd say the precognitive skill is far more useful defensively than offensively.

Why couldn't one Jedi pull the lightsaber out of the other's hand, and then gun him down while he stood there like an idiot who just lost his sword?
Then again, while he was doing that the other Jedi could grab the gun from the first guy... so they'd essentially be "switching weapons" mid air and be back to square one.
Or maybe their weapons would collide in mid-air and spontaneously explode in a burst of wires and junk.
Then they'd go at it "Matrix style" with fisticuffs.

i think its an infinate loop because tehy could alwayse respond to what the others doing but also the L-jedi could just get closer enough to chop teh others head off or what ever

yes, but the B-Jedi would know the L-jedi was trying to lop off his head, and he'd move or something. The Guy with the blaster really isn't gonna be standing still, ya know.

There may be something with Force users using force against each other, it almost never happens. Maybe they can create a shield-type thing? If both could use the force against each other, than the L-jedi could just Force grip B-Jedi and lop off his limbs at his leisure, or just take his gun. On the other hand, B-jedi could take his lightsaber, or maybe just press the power button on the lightsaber (with the Force), shutting it off, and shooting the L-Jedi while he's going "wtf?". I mean, anything can happen if you include Force acts against the people.
