A gross error! It would show nothing of the kind! It would show that space, ignoring time, is topologically equivalent to the surface of a four-dimensional hypertorus. The content of the hypertorus may be four-dimensional, but its surface is still three-dimensional. A line is topologically equivalent to a circle minus a one point, which is a two-dimensional figure, but that doesn't make the line two-dimensional.

Thou shalt be careful of what question thou asks, for thou might receive an answer and the answer might give thee a headache most massive... :wink:

It's almost headache territory, though, I'll admit that. Following these posts is diffcult because the terminology is largely unfamiliar to me, I've learned the Finnish terms, not the English ones...
