Update on Sherri

I received a number of PM's from you all -- thanks for your concern and support! Sherri went through surgery on Monday, approximately 1100 (Pacific Time). The operation lasted about three hours (gastric bypass surgery). I stayed with her last night and had to go back to work this morning. She'll be in the hospital (Swedish - Ballard in Seattle) until Friday, unless the doc releases her sooner. Sherri is still in some pain, but she has a button she can press from time to time that gives her some pain medication. She is a spirited woman to begin with, so I think her recovery will be relatively swift. I will let her know of the support and encouragement she got from all of you -- thanks.

I also didn't know that anything was wrong... And I'm pleased that it largely remains that, for the most part, nothing is wrong (in comparison to what could be, at least). Quite glad to hear of that, indeed. I offer my best wishes for Sherri's full recovery.
