Apparently so. I know my disc is gold (and so are my copies of Zelda 1, OoT and MM...and Zelda 2 before I got rid of it...).

Was there a gold edition of LttP?

Ouch. I almost died in the Shadow Temple, but I had four fairies with me, so it was all good.
I guess I didn't believe the stories when I was told the MQ was harder. GFD did the Gohma larvae convince me otherwise...

Define "kiddy". Majora's Mask got pretty hard at times.
I don't mean the game play but the sort of cutesy cutesy stuff that filled Majora's Mask.
I know I saw a lot of complaints on it because Link looked like a kid again, as opposed to OoT where he looked older. According to the gaming mags and the screen shots I saw, anyway.

That's probably what Stormbringer is referring to, and probably a larger chunk of why people bitched at the graphics in MM.

Link looks the way Miyamoto wanted him to look originally - and I'm cool with it. Hey, I'm all for the "badass motherfucker" adult Link, but I have no problems with a child looking like a child.

Stormy, go hunt up a couple screenshots on Nintendo.com and judge for yourself. I can't give you an objective opinion on what looks "kiddie" or not :?

Why on Earth would somebody have a problem with Young Link? Link isn't supposed to be an adult! We got lucky when they decided to go all time-travelly with us in OoT. Anyway, appearences aside, both Links are exactly the same.

I don't know. I'm just the reporter. And since people probably want to shoot reporters anyway ( ), I won't bother saying not to shoot me (or calling myself a messanger for that matter).

Kiddie is also an extremely subjective term...just because something loks young and Disneyish doesn't mean it is.

Really is why I hated when people screamed Celda. I mean PA did a great analogy of bunch kids giggling at a Nude painting is not a review.

Celda? That a reference to the cel shading? I remember it from PA but I had no idea what it referred to.

Damn straight. Zelda is supposed to be the story of a little boy with balls of steel who righteously kicks ass and saves the girl.

Yeah that's what it was about...also the Celda thing was supposed to be some lame joke. I'm sorry but if I see more games that animated with as much life as Zelda:WW I'll die a happy man.

Damn you Dalton. I got off work late, and it'll will be Friday before I can get my copy. This sucks, because I have been pimping it all over the place. GAH!!!

I got killed by a big Deku Baba in Master Quest. More from asshatedness than anything else. Heh, in the Deku tree. Gah again! If the water temple is harder in MQ, then I'll never make it past. I had to use the guide, and kept going backwards bside that. LoL.

No, that's not what I mean.

To me Majora's Mask just struck me as being made for kids and little kids only. Not the same sort of atmosphere and story as the rest.

Seriously, though, I'm a die-hard fan of Zelda (OoT was my fave), FF (FFVIII was my fave of that series), and...I absolutely love GTA3 and Vice City too. I'm so upset that I can't get the new Zelda game! @#%*$(#@&%(#&##*$@##!!!

Oh, goody! Where does she live? Just tell me the state or province of whatever country.

And Zaia, don't fret about not getting Wind Waker. In a few weeks, everything should have cooled down and you'll be able to pick up a copy no prob. I mean, I'm not getting the GBA SP until at least after May.
