The problem is that some meme like this is "feel good", while the explanation about trapped gas bubbles in molten rock or some such requires actually thinking and boring science...

Science, schmience. That caption has all the right Creationist buzzwords, so therefore it's true, right?

If you want to go that route, I heard from a reliable source, (that I won't give), that this is actually a pre-human spaghetti extrusion device, graced to our early ancestors by his divine noodleness.

You sure it wasn't alien astronauts?! Cause Erich von Däniken, and that bad hair meme guy both said it was aliens.

I haven't ruled out the possibility that the Flying Spaghetti Monster has an extraterrestrial origin...

Since, as we know, creationists often pull memes from SDN.

Secrete, not secret. To secret something is to hide it. Like Jared from Subway's kiddie porn collection or Rob Schneider's career. To secrete is to ooze out or discharge. Like jizm or Barry White's voice.

Don't forget, spelling glitches like that are normal and to be expected in these sorts of posts genuinely written by and for the target audience... all the better to gulp it down hook, line and sinker IMHO.

Though I'm honestly surprised they haven't tried to spam their memes onto SDN.

Or the mods might, since they'd have to deal with that, one way or another.

There was a brief invasion of religious trolls wayyyyyyyyy back in the day, I want to say, but it was fairly swiftly dealt with. When arguments started falling back on 'but the Bible says so' that tended to be received harshly.
It's a strange world. Let's keep it that way.

I almost dread the idea that you're right. Bible shouters are not renowned for their ability to spot satire, of either the unintentional or intentional varieties.

Their inability to spot satire is due to Poe's law.

True. Plus the double for "jizm" and "Barry White's voice" as if there's a difference. God bless that instant panty soaking voice...
