Thread split, and moved. Can a mod move my first post to breaking news debate, and delete the next ones?

Time lag, and multiple thread splits. :?
I responded to a post by Weemadano, and it wasn't there by the time I posted. I thought I was crazy, until I saw his name on the webpage of topics, as the last one to post.It took me a while to figure it out, complicated by the changes not yet visible to me.
All else is time lag, and a commedy of errors!
The errors being mine.
Hmmmmmm.

By the way, there is NO dignified way of getting up, after tripping over your own shoelaces. :D  :D

All right, I'm not deleting any of this, for two reasons. First, I wouldn't know where to start. Secondly, I laughed my ass off reading Crue's monologues

The thoughtful monkey head is in this case particulary adequated.

Stravo, you obviously haven't read the works of Colonel-General Heinz
Guderian.

The art of Blitzkrieg is not to worry constantly about your flanks. The
object is to keep pushing ahead ahead ahead, hell-for-leather, driving
an armored wedge deep into enemy lines with no regard for your own
flanks, and getting into his rear area lines to wreak havoc.

Patton's 3rd Army didn't worry about their flanks in their breakout across
France in 1944
Blitzkreig is tactical and operational, and remember this is the desert, Regardless of the style of warfare you still have to have a secure base and flanks to ensure POL for vehicles etc. A better example would be the logistics issues of the Brits and Germans in the western desert 1940-43.

Amazing what you can do when you only have to face 190 tanks and three infantry divisions with 2,500 rifles between them, and when another army {1st Army} busted that up for you
