T-65J X-Wing (XJ X-Wing) Model

Post by Illuminatus Primus »

Excellent model

The third torpedo launcher is under the fuselage. The problems I have with this model are: the fuselage hasn't been expanded enough for three torpedo magazines, esp. the heavy torps we know they used in Star By Star (though alternatively the XJ3 could be a strike version which happens to be the latest one out of production and thus got the most of the anti-YV add-ons, and thus has the heavy torp magazines). Also I don't see where the landing gear will retract from now, and it doesn't look like they added the meter and a half or so to the fuselage as the XJ is described as having.

Damn, that guy has so much talent it's not fair.

I agree that the XJ needs to be a bit longer and the nose a bit wider, but it still looks freaking awesome. I wish there was a way to make that the image that went into the new EGVV
