I watched my bro play his copy of Wind Waker. Ugh. Jumping Puzzles.

Yeah, but it's all hot in Texas. Plus it's so big it's easy to get lost. At least in Florida, if you keep going you're bound to hit the ocean sooner or later (that or Georgia/Alabama if you go North, but why would anyone want to do that, except to get to Maryland, which is a GREAT state, of course. :P )
Yeah, but you have all the old depressed old people over their. Here in Texas we have the lively old people. I know an 80 year old cowboy that is still farming, taking care of animals, just like when he was younger. Plus we have better people here in general. Look at when the Spurs won the championship. First one EVER, what did the people do? Lined up in hundreds at night to get Spurs Championshp T-Shirts. What did LA do when they won the championship? One of many. They rioted. Plus we had the Miss America Contest where the cow MY mom made for the San Antonio cow parade was up on stage.

Yeah, well, LA just sucks.
And hey, Tampa Bay fans were even MORE enthusiastic when the Bucs won their first ever Super Bowl. I couldn't even FIND a Championship shirt for about a week, to say nothing of ANY Bucs clothing...Hell, we all took days off of school/work to go see the parade, welcome home the team, and open up the Stadium ESPECIALLY to cheer for them!

Well...that's, um...great. Really.

Texas...the state our President hails from. Wonderful. Whenever I think of Texas, I think dry and hot and tornadoes.

I didn't notice that many. But maybe I've played Zelda so long that it doesn't faze me.

Overall, some of the puzzles were sufficiently mind-bending, and the enemies can get tough since they all come in droves. There are some really cool new items too...

Yeah fuck you.

Link's Awakening had some minor jumping puzzles, but they were a bitch to do on that damned hand held unit. I don't mind jumping puzzles too much, but it kinda bugged me at times to have automatic jumping.

I remember Link's Awakening. Not my favorite Zelda game; it didn't feel like Zelda. And there was no Zelda! Kind of like MM in that respect.

Right, to me it had that Zelda feel, well, because it was like the other Zelda's. top down, (okay, Zelda II was side scrolling top down. sue me).

Nothing will ever beat The Legend of Zelda. LttP can't handle it. No way. Never. Zelda II was an experience at that.

LttP is the greatest Zelda ever! C'mon, you got to play in two realms. I remember all sorts of great memories of it. Almost makes me want to plop it out right now.

I remember, getting that fourth jar was such great fun. Ya remmber? You to go to the shadowy realm and that chest would follow you, and then you'd go to the theif and he'd unlock it.

God I love that game.

Oh yeah. LttP. Those were the days. So, how long did it take you guys to figure out the Ice Palace (Dark World, Temple 5)? That one part pissed me off so much!

Believe it or not, a day, if that long. I breezed through most of it. I got hung up once or twice, but a friend of mine who had played it helped me out.

It might be partly because of when I played the first Zelda. I remember everyone playing that game, trying to beat temples and find secret shit. It was just so encompassing. Zelda II was just fucking immensive. As soon as I can get loose from work, i will be picking up WW. My problem is, I reserved it at EB, and they're in the mall across town. fuck me.

Yeah, that was a bitch and a half. I remember reading the solution in Nintendo Power before I got the game.

Oh God. I finally picked up Wind Waker last night, and have put in more hours running around exploring than I have and beaten a game. It's mind blowing how great this game truly is. First Metroid, now Zelda. What the hell is next? Is there anything, save GT4 which is another genre entirely? I think not people. It's going to be quite a while before we find another game like this. All of the critics, after witnessing the greatness of the first island, can now easily shove this one up thier collective know-it-all asses. Welcome to the REAL world of video fucking gaming. Thank you Sirs, and have a good day.

I picked up Wind Waker yesterday, and already I've gotten into two humiliating situations. First, I couldn't figure how to get across the dried up pond to enter dragon cavern. When I finally figured it out, I almost smacked myself. And now, I can't figure out how to get the boss key in that cavern. This game is going to take so long for me, and I'm excited about it.
