All time favorites-

All the music from Wrath of Khan. You can't go wrong with James Horner

All the music from Search for Spock. Spacedock scene especially.

- The TOS Theme- probably just because its TOS

- The TNG Theme. Rules.

All time hates-

The Voyager theme. Sucks ass, just like the show.

The DS9 theme. Sucks ass. Tame, completely uninspiring.

The music from every TNG-era movie. They all suck ass.

I like the Klingon theme from the first TOS movie. Together with their dark ships with the dark interior flying into that dark blue cloud, the Klingons were really cool.
Otherwise, ST I sucked. But the opening was cool, especially with the music.

I love all of Jerry Goldsmith's stuff, esp Star Trek TMP and TFF. First Contact was ok and Insurrection was weak compared to the others, but IMO that Hardly Goldsmith's fault.

I love TMP main title theme as it is heard in the movie not the album release. It didn't have that overused TOS fanfare. The Klingon Theme was excellent, I love how it was used in TFF.

James Horner is a close second in my book.

2. The main title theme and Klingon theme from TMP.

3. James Horner's music for TWOK and TSFS.

4. "I Hate You" from TVH (The only choice we're given is HOW MANY MEGATONS!)

6. The main title theme from TUC (this one I had chills running down my spine —jazzed me up for the whole movie) and in fact most of that film's music.

7. The music from Generations. The last time after TNG season 5 that Dennis McCarthy was allowed to stretch himself.

8. The music from "Best Of Both Worlds (1)".

The first time I heard the Enterprise theme, I was intially pleasantly surprised. "Shit," I thought, "this isn't too bad. It ties in with the images on screen and everything. I wonder what all the fuss was about?"
And then IT happened.
