Sonic vs an ISD

Ok, lets say a ISD comes to Earth to find the Chaos Emeralds as a powersource for a super weapon. Sonic desposes of their ground forces, and a pre-fab garrison. Takes a shuttle up to the ISD, causes havok there, eventual recovers the rest of the Chaos Emeralds. Goes SSJ, errr SHH(SuperHedgeHog). Can Super Sonic defeat the ISD?

Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure 2 and maybe 1 Super Sonic battles in outer space. So lack of Oxygen isn't a problem. I forgot to mention that this battle takes place in outer space. Also according to Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Sonic Adventure 2 and maybe 1 rings are scattered around the orbit of earth, so taking a little time away from the fight super sonic and replenish his supply. With Chaos control he could zip around to other spots of orbit or even earth to load up on rings.

In all those battles he was either in Super Mode or in an insulated corridor. Since rings run out at 1 per second, he'd last, oh, say 4 minutes before dying?

Eject Sonic into space.

Keep the ISD away until Sonic runs out of rings.

Laugh as Super Sonic turns into a mortal blue hedgehog and either let him burn in the atmosphere or order the gunners to use him for target practice.

Take pictures of the event and rub the easy Imperial victory over a small hedgehog in Eggman's face.

Winner: ISD!

what an unfair fight. Poor Sonic... I really like him but how the fuck shall a small blue/yellow (super) hedgehog stand a chance against a capital space warship with sufficient firepower to turn a planet to slag?

I think your really underestimating super sonic, for one, like I said before there are tons of rings scattered around the orbit of earth, also super sonic can go about Mach 3 or 4(normal sonic can go mach 1, thats how his fur changed color) And his spines can easily slice through metal as normal sonic.

Not that many rings actually.
In Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic has to have his friend collect rings for him as he battles, he can't do both at once.
So if he's on his own, the ISD doesn't even have to do anything.
