Okay, I'm predicting that it will be discovered that Mr. Smart hired that creepy ex-con handyman to make the kid disappear. That letter he received was bullshit. He wrote it himself to cement the cops' natural leaning to look anywhere other than at him. I'm also predicting that it'll be the handyman who cracks and fills 'em in on the whole mess.
