Random tough situation

Some of you may have seen the Budweiser anti-teen drinking commerical. yes, I based it off of it, but I think it's interesting nonetheless.

Let's say you and your wife spent, oh, 6 months getting tickets to this, um, thingy that you really, really, really want to see. So you go there, but halfway through you realised you forgot the tickets! So you hurry back and find your family and friends in the middle of planning your anneversary party.

So, what do you do? Do you go see that thingy that you spent months planning for, or do you stay at the party that your family and friends spent months planning for? I guess for some of us who are more alturistic, this is a no-brainer, but I'm an evil snot, so oh well

I would go to the thing, cuz if they're my friends and family they should know that they're supposed to ask my permission before doing stuff like that.

I'd go back to the thing, because my friends and family don't live and sleep with me.

I'd just disguise myself in a fake mustache and a tophat, and say I'm one of my distant relatives. Then, I'd poison the drinks because they put me in such a situation, and so they all die and I can inherit the family fortune, and not have to spend half a year saving up for tickets.

And what kind of bum are you that you have to spend months to buy a ticket? Are these plane tickets? If they are, I will extend my vacation by 3 months.
