For those of you who are unfamiliar with the His Dark Materials series, it is written by Philip Pullman, and has been one of my favorite series for a long time. It's scheduled for late 2004. Just thought I'd share this with you guys who have actually read it before...

I expect Hemlock to be very excited :)

Ah yes. I forgot to mention the book was heavy on the blasphemy. God is actually an evil guy, and the rebels are the protagonists... There was a bit of romance in the last book as well... Good plot, everything.

Excellant! Quite excellant!

Although, here's hoping they trim down the ending a bit. But the rest of the series is quite superb. They better not mess it up.

Whoa freaky. I'm reading the entire trilogy for the second time today and I was just thinking about how they could turn this into a movie.
