CNN is playing the Iraq WMD video now
it's from the pentagon briefing. part of the video shows a woman with her face half melted off from Iraqi chemicals. CNN is also playing video testemony of Iraqi dissedents who were or had family members tortured.

Propaganda for our side is useful at times. Still wonder if Saddam intends to use chemical weapons against my cohorts...Col. They should have done it sooner, to remind people what kind of shop Saddam runs. But, better late than never.

You do have to wonder. Because for Saddam Hussien the world stops with the end of his family, which is likely to be at the end of this war one way or the other.

We have to be careful, too... I haven't seen the latest round of propoganda from CNN, but the last chemical weapons raid on Iraq didn't come from Sadaam. It came from Iran, IIRC. Checmical weapon attacks, as near as I can tell, aren't really Sadaam's style. He's more into lining dissidents up and shooting them en masse.

You mean, they WOULD say he's wrong, if they hadn't died in chemical attacks.Montcalm wrote:There are Iraqi Kurds who might say you`re wrong

Iraq was responsible for the overwhelming majority of chemical weapons usage in the Iran-Iraq war. They also where the first to use them, and had a far greater Varity of types available. Though Mustard was the most common used.Queeb Salaron wrote:We have to be careful, too... Iraq used them dozens of times in its war with Iran, so saying its not Saddams style doesnt hold much water.

yup, and yes it was rather stupid of him. BTW, what people don't realize is that Saddam is not that smart, he is just simply more brutal than most of his cohorts. Brutallity is the way he got into the Bath ( s/p?) party, rose up in it's ranks, and maintained power when his cousin stepped down from the president's position.

Oh they found no WMD in Iraq so they try to use past crimes as propaganda. Wow. I'm impressed.
