I recall reading something about a movie in the works less then six month after the attack. Though not this one. Far as I'm concerned its America getting back to normal, making lots of money off disasters.
Anyone else think they would have been hard pressured to find a worse looking actor for the role of Rudy? The person they have playing him is ugly as shit.

I thought FX did one on the Flight 93 people? About the morning of, or something, and it ended just as the plane takes off, IIRC.

That's only if they are anti-Rudy and I don't think they are.David wrote:If I was ol Rudy I'd be fighting this the whole way, since this will throw mud all over his brighty and shiny end as mayor.

I read a review that says it glosses over much of the controversy over him and makes him out to be more of a straight hero.
I haven't seen it though.
Oh and there was a play that was made into a movie called The Boys that was about a fire chief having to give the eulogy for about 350 firefighters I think and he doesn't know what to say. The play/movie follows him through the process of him writing it.
I think it was written a little while after 9/11.

Define "normal." The job market is still in the shitter, and the economy is... well... sickly at best.Howedar wrote:America is already normal, and has been for over a year.Sea Skimmer wrote:Far as I'm concerned its America getting back to normal, making lots of money off disasters.

The economy has been poor many other times in history. It is not desirable, but it is normal.Queeb Salaron wrote:Define "normal."
