I can hardly wait. Efficient multi-threaded Java made possible by a great new threading mechanism by red hat. This will certainly help Java webservers, but it may also enhance client side performance in Java.


In addition to Java, it may increase the performance of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Apache.

Unfortuantely, RH9 breaks binary compatability if programs do not conform to POSIX standards (hence why RH8.1 was renamed RH9)
