What kind of projectile do you picture the Broadsword artillery variant firing?fractalsponge1 wrote: ↑2019-01-20 06:21pm Broadsword turret variants: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xzd1KO

Re: Something big
I look at the Broardsword variants and all I can see is the Armata series in SPACEEEEEEEEE. Not that that's a bad thing, clearly the Star Wars vehicles would serve similar roles that the contemporary vehicles would.
That just leaves a Broardsword derived engineering vehicle. Or would that be one of the landers outfitted for a recovery role to tranship wrecks and damaged hulls either to planet-side depots or in-orbit assault transports for repair.

Built the old-school XW bulk freighter, designed a container for it that works, and a modular attachment system for said container:

Re: Something big
maybe in the same vein do a YT-1300 and it's cargopod.
i like the way they went with that. it explains so much, like why the YT had so little internal space but such a massive sublight engine.
the Falcon isn't a souped-up delivery truck, it's a souped-up tugboat.

If a black-hawk flies over a light show and is not harmed, does that make it immune to lasers?

Howlrunner, never seen it in anything other than the Essential Guide To Vehicles, but I liked the design.

Re: Something big
Looks better than the visuals in either of Essential Guides to Vehicles. More of a Star Wars/ Imperial feel to the design.fractalsponge1 wrote: ↑2019-01-29 10:29am Playing around with the Macquarrie sketch/Buck Rogers/what did they do to it in Star Wars? light starfighter: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8lma6E

Looks kinda like a Legends Howlrunner.

Re: Something big
Love the Howlrunner. I believe you mentioned elsewhere you scaled it down a bit from 11.4m to fit its described niche as a replacement for TIEs in second-line units? Hard to tell from the comparison shot but it looks like it is meant to occupy about the same volume (albeit more horizontal than vertical)?

Re: Something big
My version is only 6.94m long. In terms of storage volume, with wings folded, you can fit 4 of them in the same volume occupied by a single TIE/ln.23 November 1939 wrote: ↑2019-02-03 12:52pm Love the Howlrunner. Will it match the ship shown in the new comics?

Why would the comic design that ripped me off get any precedence in my own work?
