A few years ago, some of you might remember this was inflicted on the Net from the Yogscast YouTube channel:
The other day, someone on another forum noted that Dwarf Metal is apparently now A Thing, and linked to this:
Oh my — this was a thing of beauty.
OK, hands up if you were reminded of that scene in the intro to the first Hobbit movie; you know, the bit in the mines under Erebor, with the dwarf smith holding a red-hot metal ingot over his head... he steps on a pedal beside the anvil... and two huge hammers come down from above and WHAP!!! squishes it (the ingot, not the dwarf) into the right shape.
It's odd, I don't usually go for metal because it's TOO LOUD and I can't make out the words... or the melody line... sometimes not the bass line either. But this, I really enjoyed. Once I'd stopped laughing.
