Evanescence.
How many of you listen to Evanescence or groups like them (like Lacuna Coil, for ewxample). Just getting a bit of a taste of music preference here..

I've downloaded three of their songs so far:
"Bring Me to Life"
"Haunted"
"My Immortal"
They're all fabulous. The first totally rocks out, the second is kickin', and the last is so gorgeous it makes my heart ache in my chest when I listen to it. Le sigh, so beeyootiful......
Oh, and I only just saw the video to "Bring Me to Life" a couple days ago (I've known the song for a couple weeks), and the lead singer chick (Amy, I take it, XaLEv?) looks exactly the way I pictured her. It was cool and freaky at the same time.

Amy Lee, yes. Go download Whisper, right now.Zaia wrote:I've downloaded three of their songs so far:

Now, does this picture:

Is it just me or does the singer sound remarkably like Sarah McLachlan? Pretty good music, I'll have to put it on my buy list so I don't forget about it after I'm done with my current Hendrix & Satriani guitar goodness binge.
Edit: And is it just me or is there also a resemblance between that Amy chick and Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah Slean, who I also recommend.
Edit2: I'm losing my mind and can't type coherently no more.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either.

I just have that one song on the Daredevil soundtrack. It rocks all hell though.

Evanescence rocks. I picked up their cd a couple weeks ago. The songs I like the most so far? "Bring me to life" "Tourniquet" "My Immortal"

I just got "Whisper" which is tres bien, and also tried to get "Tourniquet" because I was attracted to the name, but the copy I got was fucked up. I hate that.verilon wrote:"tourniquet" by Evanescence is also really good. =D

That's so sweet of you! I do have AIM, and that would be absolutely wonderful, but I have to get to bed right now. Can we maybe set up an AIM date and do it sometime later please?
