You know as well as I that when a school cuts a budget, the Fine Arts departments are the first things to go. Don't feed me this bullshit about schools always wanting more money. Schools DESERVE more money. If the education of our children is so important, as even the most ignorant person would agree, then the funding of these scholastic programs is justified. And because budgets get cut from Fine Arts departments first, they are always the first to ask for more money. Of COURSE it's justified. This is the Fine Arts department in that one particular school system asking for a kickback for the sacrifices that it has undoubtedly made in the interests of the taxpayer. Would you condemn them for that?! To do so is completely illogical.

Let me spell it out really clear so we're all on the same page here. I referred to the Art/Music staff at my old HS as commies, among other derogatory terms. Then Stormbringer came and made a generalization that ALL of em are commies, and I provided the above evidence to show that 3/4 of em were not in fact commies. For the record, I doubt there are alot of commies in the Music/Arts departments around the country, since they're mostly just useless, mentally disturbed scumbags anyway, but seeing as the guy was a commie, I figured he deserved mention.

1. Yes, it does... But I don't give a pile of rat shit about it....I don't even know where to begin with you. Your blatant lack of regard for humanity is disturbing to say the least. I can honestly say at this point in time after having read that post, that while incredibly articulate in your response, it is plain to me that you have no soul at all. Do you not know that art and music are the things that define a culture as humans? Do you even care that humanity exists, or are you content to just play with numbers and live in the dreams of others?
2. Yes, I do care that humanity exists. I very much love the 80 percent of humanity that is not infested with sniveling retarded degenerates such as yourself who have your heads so far up your asses that you assume people like me give a fuck about your precious art and music.
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your above statement is a rotting corpse stuffed with shit that smacks of socialism. I hereby give you notice that you pathetic attempt to suck me into a philosophical debate on the nature of man has FAILED, ahhahahahahaahhaha! You are uninspired, and your comments show as much. Your soul lacks the fundamental elements of humanity. You are as much a stone or a patch of dirt as you are a man, becase a real man recognizes that he is dependent upon others to survive. That in mind, he would never accuse another of having dreams that are illigitimate, at least not to the extent of wanting to draw or play music and display the creative nature not only of Americans, but of humans in general. Your opinions contradict the notion of individual expression; you advocate men as sheep.
Go back to drinking from the toilet, you flaming bitch. If you don't have anything more to say, then quit mentally wanking over your fantasies about my life.As for your children, I hope two things for them: First, I hope that they see through your Nazistic, fascist, bigoted, prejudiced point of view and denounce you for the neo-Hitler that you are. Second, I hope they find ways of expressing themselves through music, art, poetry, dance, theater or song. I hope that some day your eldest son writes a novel condemning your jaded social views; I hope your daughter takes up the violin and becomes fascinated with Jewish folk music. And I hope above all else that it wounds you so deeply that you become a recluse and can no longer function as a part of society, saving us from having to deal with you and your kind.
Watch out or I'll beat you with the rock hard IRONY of that statement. If you remember correctly, friend, Hitler was an artist.

I think you're missing my point here, Falk. All vulgarity aside, I have yet to hear you give a legitimate reason why you would want to have a hand in the denial of more budget money for your music department. Your reasoning so far include the following:
1. You claim that 1/4 of the music department teachers are Communists. I can understand your distaste for Communism (however much I would disagree with your stance that a teacher's political agenda is worthy of funds denial for the whole department). But by that logic, 3/4 of the department is NOT Communist. Why not support the majority rather than let it suffer as you condemn the minority?
2. You claim that the Fine Arts have no place in school systems on the basis that they are non-academic and therefore serve no purpose in increasing a person's ability to contribute to society. I hope you remember that the next time you turn on a radio and say something along the lines of, "Hey, that's a good song!" Those people on the radio were all part of a music department in school, friend. You can obviously see the fruits of such a program.
3. You claim that decreasing the budget for the Fine Arts program will be your way of "getting back at" those rich kids for whom you had so much hatred. But what will that do in the long run? Assuming the Fine Arts budget gets cut (which probably won't happen, considering most people have more of a heart than you have displayed), there will be fewer Fine Arts classes, simply because there's not enough money to fund the supplies needed to run those classes. The result? Those rich kids you dislike so much are forced to mingle with the english / history / math and science-minded students. The next generation of kids like you will be overrun with rich students. You're only making the scholastic experience more difficult for those whose thought processes are similar to your own.
If and when you decide to reply to this post, do so in a point-counterpoint manner, because I refuse to waste time re-arguing points I have already made. Nor do I wish to waste my time pointing out your logical fallicies, but I will if it comes down to it. You are being offensive for the sake of being offensive, and any legitimate point that you could make has been swallowed up in the bullshit spewing from your fingertips in a vain attempt to offend me. Which, thus far, hasn't worked. You're just coming off as stupid and arrogant, a master of grudge-bearing, and one that is familiar with the dark and cavernous depths of his own asshole.

Mike, you were actually very right. He is making hasty generalizations. Take a look at this.
Falk, have you ever once spoken to Zaia? Do you think she is a mentally disturbed jackoff? Just because you had one bad experience doesn't mean you have to subject the rest of the world to your arrogance. The Arts don't get enough funding as it is in schools.
And Shep, teachers need pay raises because nowadays they're just glorified babysitters that teach the damn grade tests. If I were a teacher having to deal with you or even Falk here, I'd want to be paid better for getting verbally abused by my students and having to take it because the school system wouldn't do a goddamn thing about it.
And one other thing:
Right there he is saying that all Arts teachers (yes, Music is an art) are "a bunch of mentally disturbed jackoffs." I highly take offense to that.Arts and Music teachers, in my experience, are a bunch of mentally disturbed jackoffs who live their lives in a constant state of delusion about their own importance. Never once have I met an art or music teacher who I would consider sane.

Good point, Zoink.Zoink wrote:If I may make a generalization: in my own experience, people that hate teachers this much usually don't go very far, in terms of college/university.
I'll make a generalization, too: People with their heads so far up their asses usually can't sit up straight, never mind understand a decent argument when it comes their way.
The very creation of this thread is a testament to the massochism that is flamebaiting. Falk KNOWS that no one is going to agree with him on this point, and yet he continued to make public his relatively meaningless political views as they relate to local budget disbursement. The only reason that I care so much is that I happen to be an aspiring music teacher, and I take GREAT offense to the broad and asninine generalizations that he made against people of the same caliber as myself.

The only shit you'll hear on the radio that was inspired by any music class will be some kind of pansy ass light rock or maybe a vocalist who had choir or something. If I turn on the radio, I will hear either Rock, Rap, Country, or a very rare classical station, with all kinds of orchestra music and stuff. Out of those, the only ones I would expect to be a product of a music department are the orchestra ones. I never heard any rock, rap or country music coming out of the music department. (Even though rap isn't really music)2. You claim that the Fine Arts have no place in school systems on the basis that they are non-academic and therefore serve no purpose in increasing a person's ability to contribute to society. The SCHOLASTIC EXPERIENCE as you call it is one endless long haul of mindless drudgery anyway. I slept through about 1/2 of it. I could give a fuck about how many pencil dicked perverts are infesting the regular classes, because I would either be sleeping or not paying attention to them anyway. Please realize that I prey on these little fuckers for FUN.3. You claim that decreasing the budget for the Fine Arts program will be your way of "getting back at" those rich kids for whom you had so much hatred. But what will that do in the long run? Question: precisely what have we learned about politics or world events from this thread? Or is "Falkenhorst hates the school system" pretty much the only real revelation here? Does this thread belong elsewhere?

I grow tired of this inane bullshit. I'm taking seven classes this semester, and I do not have the time nor the energy to waste debating humanity with a neo-Nazi. Your logic is flawed. Terminally so. Your views on the Fine Arts are disturbing to say the least. Your hatred for all of mankind is irrational and unfounded. You are a sad excuse for a human being. The only suggestion I can give you is to off yourself before you hurt someone. You are a disgrace to humanity; you don't deserve the effort it takes to type a single word against you. Consider yourself lucky that this thread has gotten as much recognition as it has, because this is your limelight. We did you a favor by even looking in your direction.

"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

That's how I breezed through school, reading books during class, lol
while the other fuckheads screeched and flung their shit around.
And if you disliked it so much, you could have dropped out and saved the teachers a bit of grief.
