Specifically, I want to make stuff for 3d Printing. Nothing complicated.
I want to make faces for Transformers customs. (Specifically for Titan/Prime Masters)
Want I'm hoping to be able to do is this -
Make a 2d image of the face in question.
* Basically trace an outline of the face and it's features in photoshop from pictures of the old toys, stills from the comics or similar
And then from there, use that outline to create the STL.
Suggestions? Free/Cheap and easy to learn please.

Suggestions for good, easy to use 3d software
I've been asked why I still follow a few of the people I know on Facebook with 'interesting political habits and view points'.
It's so when they comment on or approve of something, I know what pages to block/what not to vote for.

For easy of learning getting the free 2017 version of sketchup might be right up your alley, curves are hard in it but that is not much of a concern with transformers heads. However if you ever wanted to learn a different 3d program sketchup is the worst and bery different than any I have seen. Blender is harder but also free and is quite powerful.
the engines cannae take any more cap'n
