1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2 a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3 : a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

According to Karl Marx's theory Socialism does lead to Facism. I personally think Marx is wrong about alot of stuff, including the whole communism theory, so take it for what its worth.

Just a question sorta off topic, why is Fascism considered part of the "right"? Does it not share alot of common beliefs with Socialism? I am taking this from the Nazi (National Socialist Germans Workers) party of course, which appears to be a combination of radical right views AND radical left view. The Nazi Party advocated alot of what appears to be in the original post. For example (In no order):

We demand that there shall be profit sharing in the great industries.

We demand the creation and maintenance of a healthy middle class, immediate communalization of the large department stores and their lease at a low rate to small traders, and that the most careful consideration shall be shown to all small traders in purveying to the State, the provinces, or smaller communities.

We demand the nationalization of all businesses which have (hitherto) been amalgamated (into trusts).

All were part of the Nazi Parties agenda, most likely to eliminate the threat of a corperation challenging the power of the State. Just something that I have always wondered. Personally I don't think politics are 1 dimensional. Sorry back to the original topic.
